Feimna rjúpan - Pict Expeditions

Feimna rjúpan is a family-company based in the realm of the glaciers, Öræfi, south-east Iceland. We specialize in craft courses and outdoor experiences. The outdoor branch is run by the name Pict Expeditions, and we do hikes on glaciers or mountains and expeditions both on foot and skis. We tailor make the adventure to our customers and are happy to work with those that want to venture further from the beaten track. We are mountaineers and have our guiding qualifications through the Association of Icelandic Mountain Guides (AIMG) as well as other internationally recognised qualifications. We are also locals and know our mountains and conditions well. Feimna rjúpan is a small company and we strive to only provide personal and quality experiences to our customers. The people behind the company are Svanhvít and Daniel, Svanhvít a local Icelander from the rural sheep farming community of Öræfi, and Daniel, a travelled Scotsman who got drawn in by the raw wilderness of the country.
