Viking Heliskiing

 Founded in 2013, Viking Heliskiing is a
heliskiing/heliboarding company that specialises in bringing the unique
skiing/snowboarding experience possible while staying in Iceland.

Björgvinsson, founders of the company, are former professional alpine skiers
and members of the Icelandic National Skiing Team. They know the Troll
Peninsula area the most since they skied here their whole life. Therefore we at
Viking Heliskiing make sure that this type of holiday will be unique and
unforgettable for everyone joining. 

Situated in Siglufjörður, we take you to
places people usually don’t get. Troll Peninsula is a fantastic spot with all
types of terrain for skiing/snowboarding. Our Viking Heliskiing crew has the
most powerful, skillful and experienced guides that always take care of guests’
safety and that everyone will have fun while skiing/snowboarding all those
untouched lines with breathtaking views.  

Simply, if you want to ski comfortably
down extensive mountain routes – we do that. If you wish to ski steep - we ski
steep, and if you want to ski extremely steep - we ski extremely steep! In any
case, we will make sure not to let our skiers/snowboarders go in over their
heads, as their safety is our priority.

We are proud to announce that we at
Viking Heliskiing are also opening our first 5* luxury lodge Höfði Lodge at the end of 2023/ beginning
of 2024. Situated next to Grenivík, only 25 minutes by car from Akureyri, Höfði
Lodge will be the place to stay. Place where you can relax, enjoy the
adventure, great kitchen and call it a perfect holiday in every way!

The lodge will be focused on the luxury adventure holidays in the North of
Iceland for the whole year. From heliskiing/heliboarding to e-mountain biking,
hiking, hunting, horseback riding, all ocean adventures possible and other
