Slippbarinn

Slippbarinn is effectively the birthplace of the Reykjavik cocktail culture. Established in 2012 within the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavík Marina, it was the first bar in the city to focus on fresh, high-quality cocktails. These past years we have seen a cocktail revolution in Iceland with more and more high-level bars and establishments opening with a focus on hand-crafted cocktails, but Slippbarinn is still regarded as one of the most respected bars in town. The food and drinks are based on a classic foundation with a twist where emphasis is on fresh ingredients, interesting flavours and bold presentation.
