Safarihestar horse rental is a small family business located on the south shore of lake Mývatn at Álftagerði III farm, 400m west of Sel-Hótel Mývatn. We offer one or two hours guided riding tours in the beautiful surroundings of lake Mývatn and the nearby crater formations with a nice view over the whole lake. Most of the horses are owned by the family and born, raised and trained on the farm. We have suitable horses for beginners, children and experienced riders. Tours can be booked by calling +354-864-1121 but reservations are not necessary.
