Hafnarstræti Hostel

Hafnarstræti Hostel is a modern Hostel located in the heart of Akureyri, to be precised in the main shopping street. We offer Pod cabins including a smart tv, a safe for valuables and more. With each Pod is a locker for luggage included.

With us you will get free access to internet and you are able to park your car for free in a parkingspace close by. 

The Pod’s are two sizes 100cmx200cm, for one person, 160cmx200cm, for two persons. The Pod’s are lined up in a few separate hallways to keep privacy for our clients. 

We offer a comfortable combined space with a pool table and cozy sofa’s, there guest have the possibility to meet and greet other travelers from Iceland or other countries.

We last but certainly not least have 10 bathrooms with a showers for our guests. 

By the reception is a dining room along with a kitchen with everything our guests could possibly need to prepare their food. Included in our price is a breakfast buffet from 7-9 in the morning. 

Our Hostel is a brilliant way for people who are traveling around Iceland and in the Akureyri area to pay less and enjoy more of what beautiful Akureyri has to offer.
