Glacier Journey

The company is based at Víkurbraut 4 Höfn, approx. 79 km east of Glacier Lagoon- Jökulsárlón, owned and run by the couple Laufey and Gulli.

Glacier Journey is operating all year round and offers Super jeep tours, Snowmobile tours, and Ice cave tours. The company also offers sightseeing tours in the Vatnajökull area on small buses for smaller groups.

During the winter, the meeting point is at the Glacier Lagoon- Jökulsárlón, where they go to the ice caves and the snowmobiles.

During the summer, the meeting point is next to Hotel Smyrlabjörg, 38 km west of Höfn (42 km east of Glacier lagoon-Jökulsárlón).

Snowmobile tour
Come and explore with us the fantastic lunar landscape of Iceland! Our tour will take us through rugged and wild landscapes, and stunningly beautiful valleys, and offers a breathtaking view of some of the highest peaks in the whole country and over the amazing Vatnajökull glacier. 

Super Jeep glacier tour

Join our jeep tours and drive with us 1.400 meters up in the mountains where the view over Iceland’s highest peaks will take your breath away! And on top of that, the largest glacier in Europe will lay beneath your feet.

Ice cave tour
You will get the opportunity of a lifetime to enjoy one of the world’s greatest wilderness; Iceland’s largest glacier. You’ll get to drive in a specially modified Super Jeep to the glacier, explore the glacier environment, enjoy a view out of this world and go into and underneath the glacier and experience the glacier’s beauty from the inside!

On each tour, an experienced guide will lead the way the whole time to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves to the fullest. We also make sure that all of our guests get the necessary equipment for each tour.
