Frú Nielsen

Frú Nielsen is located in one of Egilsstaðir’s most historic buildings, Nielsen House, the town’s oldest house, built in 1944 by Danish merchant Oswald Nielsen. Today, the character and history of the house provide a charming setting for the restaurant.

The menu offers fresh and flavourful dishes in a relaxed atmosphere, including poke bowls, salads, sandwiches, tacos, fresh juices, smoothies and açaí bowls. On sunny days, the lovely outdoor area is the perfect place to sit back, enjoy good food and drinks, and soak up the atmosphere.
