Welcome to Vík HI Hostel!

The Vík HI hostel is offers some of the best accommodation in the area, weather you are travelling on a budget or want some home-y comfort in a cosy, comfortable place. You can choose a dorm room or a private room, and just recently we opened two cottage. Guests can use the kitchen and dining room for all their needs, rent a bike to explore the area, enjoy a free, Wi-Fi connexion and much more!

The hostel also offers a delicious breakfast buffet with dozens of home-made and local products such as waffles, rhubarb jam and smoked trout, as well as eggs from the hostel chickens. The owners received the "Green hostel" distinction from Hosteling International and are working constantly to improve energy efficiency, recycling habits and the protection of nature in and around the hostel.

The Vík hostel staff will be happy to inform you about the area and can also take you on a number of wonderful hiking tours in Vík and the surroundings.
