Norð Austur sushi & bar is a part of Hótel Aldan , a family-run hotel in the peaceful and remote town of Seyðisfjörður only a few meters from the iconic Rainbowstreet and Blue Church. The resta urant is renowned for its delicious sushi and has been named the best sushi restaurant in the country.

The restaurant, Norð Austur, is named after our beloved, unloving wind direction: North East. The restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients available at any given time, with the fish being caught locally by fishermen in the fjords. With respect for the raw materials and Japanese traditions, Norð Austur serves modern sushi alongside tasty beverages.
