We offer day tours and multi-day trips, either in small groups or private, to both popular and well off-the-beaten path locations. At Midgard Base Camp which is located in Hvolsvöllur, the heart of South Iceland, unique accommodation, a stunning rooftop hot tub and a lively restaurant and bar awaits you.

Day Tours
We offer various kinds of day tours: highlands tours, super jeep tours, wilderness hikes, bike tours, sightseeing tours and glacier tours. Our most popular summer tours are Þórsmörk Super Jeep, Þórsmörk Hike and Landmannalaugar Day Tour. Our most popular winter tours are Þórsmörk Super Jeep, Meet Eyjafjallajökull and Midgard Surprise.

Multi Day Trips
We offer multi-day trips ranging from 2-8 days. But we can also customise multi-day trips at any length of time. Our most popular summer trip is the 4-Day Iceland Adventure Package where you experience awe-inspiring landscapes of South Iceland along with fun and exciting activities. Our most popular winter trip is the 4-Day Northern Lights Adventure. This is the perfect itinerary for a winter break with the flexibility needed for winter travel in Iceland. Both of these tours combine the whole Midgard all-in-one concept as the guests accommodate and dine at Midgard Base Camp. 

Private tours and tailor-made itineraries
We offer both private tours and tailor-made adventures. You tell us what you would like to do and we design an itinerary customized around your wants, desires and budget. We will gladly cover the most popular destinations but our expertise lies in our ability to go off-the-beaten path. You will get inside access to hidden places that you will not find in tourist books.

Family Vacations
We love organising family trips to Iceland. All our services are very much personalised, so don’t expect any standard e-mails. Tell us about your family and your interests and we will use our knowledge to design a memorable trip that suits your family. A trip that will include the must-see popular sights and also off-the-beaten path trips where you will experience the authentic and raw Iceland, the real Iceland – far away from other tourists.

Do you need accommodation?
At Midgard Base Camp you will find hotel and hostel style accommodation, restaurant and a bar. Midgard’s location is superb to explore all the major attractions in South Iceland as well as the “off the beaten path” highlands. The atmosphere is relaxed and the friendly ambience is unique. All guests get exclusive access to the rooftop hot tub and sauna.
