Iceland Writers Retreat

The Iceland Writers Retreat is an annual event for aspiring and published authors and anyone who enjoys writing. It is comprised of a series of small-group writing workshops, as well as cultural tours and readings designed to introduce participants to Iceland’s rich literary traditions and contemporary writers.

The Iceland Readers Retreat is an annual event for avid readers. Between lectures and discussion groups, participants tour Reykjavik and its surroundings as they learn about the oeuvre of one visiting author, contemporary Icelandic writers, and the rich literary heritage of this book-loving nation.
