Ice Adventure / Glacier Jeeps

Since 1994 we have offered exciting super jeep and snowmobile tours on Europe´s largest glacier, Vatnajökull.

We pick you up from Vagnsstaðir and start our magnificent drive towards the glacier, we will see location spots from movies that have been made here such as Batman Begins, James Bond (Die Another Day), Tomb Raider, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and from the TV show Game of Thrones. We continue onto Europe´s largest glacier where we have breath-taking views over Vatnajökull.

Duration 3 hours including 1 hour on the glacier.
Departure time at 09.30 am and 14.00 pm
Departure point from 1st of March – 15th of October – from Vagnsstaðir Hostel
Please note A valid driver's license is needed to operate a snowmobile. Passengers do not need a driver´s license.
We provide Over all’s, boots, helmets, gloves, and balaclava from the snowmobile ride.
