Glacier Adventure is a small family-run local company. Guiding is our passion and our life revolves around Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull. All of our tours are operated on, under, and around the glacier. Glacier Adventures base camp is only 12km east of the Jökulsárlón, the Glacier Lagoon, one of Iceland's most popular attractions. The meeting point is Hali, where you will find our cozy barn as a hang-out place before your tour starts.

The company's goal is to share our love and knowledge of the region with our clients and to safely introduce them to some of Iceland's most stunning sights. We have summer and winter tours. During summer, Glacier Adventure takes its guests on a glacier walk on Breiðamerkurjökull, one of Vatnajökull's biggest outlet glaciers. Glacier Adventure offers ice climbing in a small and intimate group. Over the winter period, from November to the middle of March Glacier Adventure offers Ice Cave tours. We have two different ice cave tours to offer. The longer ice cave tour is a combo tour including a glacier walk and an ice cave tour and the shorter is only an ice cave tour.
