Gísli, Eiríkur, Helgi - Café

Café Gísli, Eiríkur & Helgi, also known as Bakkabræður Café, is a cosy café located at Grundargata 1 in Dalvík.

The café takes its name from Gísli, Eiríkur and Helgi, three brothers from well-known Icelandic folk tales, collectively known as Bakkabræður. The brothers were known for their simple-minded ways and humorous adventures, which have entertained Icelanders for generations.

The café has a distinctive old-fashioned atmosphere, with hundreds of interesting objects and decorations filling the interior.

On the menu is their popular fish soup, served with homemade bread made with locally brewed Kaldi beer, along with coffee, cakes and a selection of alcoholic beverages.
