In Sólberg in the "center" of Grímsey, directly above the harbor, is the handicraft house of Grímsey women. Open on ferry days during the summer; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while the ferry waits. It offers Grimse handicrafts and handicrafts from the mainland; souvenirs, maps and books from Grímsey. It also houses the country's smallest café, which offers freshly baked waffles and more.
