Gaddstaðaflatir Camping Ground

The campsite at Gaddstaðaflatir in Hella has previously been used for the National Icelandic Horse Competition (IS Landsmót hestamanna) but is now available to public camping. The campsite is spacious, with new toilet facilities and access to a well-equipped building for cooking and enjoying meals. Gaddstaðaflatir is a part of an equestrian area, and nearby you can spot Rangárhöll riding hall and the main track that regularly hosts the celebrated Landsmót.
