Rally Palli / Páll Halldór Halldórsson

Páll Halldór Halldórsson, often called Rally Palli was born and raised in Hnífsdalur, a small town in the West Fjords of Iceland. There he went to a elementary school with 6 classmates. Then he went to The high school of Isafjordur and when he graduated from there, he started to study mechanics but never finished.

He worked in the fish factory and drove a truck from the West Fjords to Reykjavík and back again. He moved to Reykjavik in 1988 and met his wife where they worked together on his new job in the capital city. He worked for one of the biggest tv channels in Iceland as a stage manager, he drove tourists for his friend on his Ford Encoline and now works at Askja, the car agency for Benz and Kia, as a sales manager.

He has run his own company since 1997 called Jópal ehf. Jopal specialises in tourist driving along with other special projects, such as the modification on his Sprinter.

Palli and his wife, Kristín, have 5 daughters together and he became a grandfather several years ago. His hobbies are obviously cars, people and travelling.
