Neskaupstaður Campsite

The camping ground is in a beautiful panoramic viewpoint near the avalanche defence structure in Drangagil, just above the street Víðimýri. On-site are showers, lavatories, electricity, playground, and a beach volleyball field. On and by the avalanche defence structure are many walking paths and from there you can enjoy the spectacular view over the village, the fjords, and mountains. Tourist information centre is at the entrance of Neskaupstaður swimming pool which is open all year round.

At this camping ground you will find:

The service on the camping ground is provided from 1.june - 15.september.

Open fire is not permitted and dogs are allowed on a leash.
